Announcing our new “Mascot” Contest
Genius Yield, the first decentralized exchange on Cardano with concentrated liquidity and a Smart Liquidity Management protocol, is organizing a community-driven contest to find its new official mascot!
Our new mascot should represent Genius Yield’s philosophy and mission to simplify DeFi and democratize crypto around the world.
Whether you are an established artist or simply an enthusiastic creator, you all are welcome to participate!
The contest will be organized in 3 phases :
Phase 1 : “Creating the Art!”
Create a new mascot based on our initial robot character or a totally new concept design by taking inspiration from the designs and colors present on our website : https://www.geniusyield.co/
By joining the competition, the participant declares that the mascot design submitted is his/her original work and does not infringe on any third party’s existing copyright. Any complaints that may arise due to similarities, likeness or comparison of the design would be the accountability of the participant as he/she would be responsible to prove its authenticity.
To qualify, you must follow our twitter account, retweet the contest tweet, reply to it with your artwork submission, add the hashtag #geniusyield, and tag 3 people you think would be interested.
Phase 1 will start on February the 23th of 2022 and ends on March the 16th of 2022.
Phase 2 : “The NFT sales”
The Genius Yield team will select 6 of their favorite mascot submissions at the end of the competition and will collaborate with each artist to create 10 unique artwork pieces that will be minted into unique NFT pieces. Each artist’s series will incorporate different fun variations, styles, costumes, etc. of the original core design they submitted.
To reward these hardworking artists, we will organize a big NFT sale event with our CNFT Genius X platform partner : Cardahub!
Cardahub will showcase and put on sale 6 series of 10 NFTs made by the winners of the first phase.
Artists who submit their artwork to the “New Genius Bot mascot contest” and have any of their submitted artwork chosen for participation in the subsequent “Phase 2 : the NFT sales” agree to the following; Genius Yield will be granted permanent usage of the chosen artwork, only for display, marketing and promotional purposes for that NFT sale, and that usage of that image(s) is limited to any Genius Yield press releases, Genius Yield event presentations, Genius Yield articles, Genius Yield graphics, Genius Yield social media posts and for use on the Genius Yield website.
100% of the sale price will go to the artists while 100% of the royalties will bgo to Genius Yield.
The NFT sales will be announced at a later date
Phase 3 : “ the Community vote”
At Genius Yield we are all about engaging with our community and including their input in our ecosystem, so we think they should have the final choice on which mascot design will best represent Genius Yield.
We’ll organize a Twitter poll and the community will be able to vote for its favorite design.
The final winner will receive a special 5000 GENS token prize in addition to the percentage of the sale price and royalties on the NFT sale.
The winning design will automatically become the intellectual property of Genius Yield.
Genius Yield reserves the right to modify and use the design at will for any use Genius Yield deems fit.
