Introducing Empowa’s $EMP Token & NFTs on the Genius Yield Staking dApp

April 27th, 2023, Zug, Switzerland: Genius Yield, the all-in-one DeFi platform that combines AI-powered Yield Optimizer with a concentrated liquidity DEX, is thrilled to announce Empowa’s native token $EMP and NFTs have been added to the Genius Yield Staking dApp! This addition to the Staking dApp will provide users with more opportunities to earn rewards.

The Genius Yield Staking dApp is a decentralized application that allows users to earn rewards by staking their tokens. It is a part of the Genius Yield platform where users will soon be able to trade assets in an order-book Decentralized Exchange and use concentrated liquidity positions to maximize their yield.

Empowa is a Cardano-based project that uses blockchain technology to unlock the $1 trillion affordable housing opportunity in Africa. Staking $EMP Token and NFTs on the Genius Yield Staking dApp

The $EMP token is a CNT (Cardano Native Token) that is used within the Empowa ecosystem, with a total supply of 200 million. For an overview of how the $EMP token enables the development of affordable homes in Africa, you can read the Empowa blackpaper here.

Now, thanks to Genius Yield Staking dApp, $EMP holders also will be able to stake their $EMP tokens to earn rewards. $EMP holders will be offered locked staking with APY as follows:

Starting 27th of April:
3 months locking period: 4.0% APY
6 months locking period: 4.75% APY

Coming soon:

1 month locking period: 3.5% APY

Users will also have the option to stake Empowa Founding Community NFTs to boost their APY:

“Premium”: +1% APY
“Project Catalyst”, “Community”, or “Team”: +0.5% APY
